Tool Tip Tuesday

Welcome me back…
I have just moved into my new apartment, condominium actually, I love it! This is a big step from the studio I lived in for the past 2 years. Some of the highlights that I love so far are.
Two beds (one bedroom is my so called office) and three baths, upstairs downstairs located in a quiet community. I finally got my big screen TV, 42in. 1080P LCD, thank god I held out Best Buy prices where pretty high; I got mine at Costco’s at a great price. I also ordered a 25ft VGA cable from monoprice.com (great prices there) so that I could use the 42 as a monitor; let me tell you it’s F’N incredible. If you have the setup then I encourage you to try out Netflix WatchNow. Ok that’s enough about my move… for right now.

Well here’s something new I want to try, I’m calling it “Tool Tip Tuesday”, it’s a new format I would like to introduce. Basically I plan to list Tools, Applications, FireFox Plug ins, and etc that I find helpful when programming, or applying SEO tactics or just getting around the internet.
If you have some suggestions or recommendation please feel free to participate and send your tips in also.

For the July 10th First “Tool Tip Tuesday” my list includes:

Tamper Data - Use to view HTTP/HTTPS headers, I use this all the time along with Live HTTP Headers these are great tools to view your sites headers and the data that is being transferred.
Search Status - This FireFox addon is packed with all kinds of useful tools, Google PageRank, Alexa Rank and more.
Domaintools.com - This site is incredible you can get very detail information about sites, servers, hosting and more. I recommend getting one of the Firefox Search Extension, I use the Whois Engine every single day, seriously I do.
Godaddy.com - You know I’m crazy about registering domain names. The FireFox Engine is another life saver. When at work and wanting to do a quick domain look up this works out great. If you go to Godaddy.com you’ll notice the option to download the FireFox extension.
Google Sitemaps Validator – Really this is self explanatory. I think it important to validate your Google Sitemap.
