Mobile Banking and Bank of America.
Today on the way to lunch a guy I work with (a friend of mine) used my cell phone to log on his Bank America checking account. I knew mobile banking was coming but I didn’t know it was already here.
This is a giant step to where we want to be. I have been harping on the idea of having a mobile connection to my bank account for the longest. Example, you go out to eat, you know you have money in the bank but how much is the question. Do I need to go on?
Bank of America’s mobile banking gives members the ability to
- Check their bank balances,
- View checking and savings account transactions,
- Pay Bills
- Transfer money.

Wachovia
Citibank
